Magnitude of PIPC Development

The Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex (PIPC) is creating value to the downstream oil and gas value chain in Johor. Sited in Pengerang, it is one of the largest piece of investments in Pengerang district and located on a single plot measuring about 20,000 acres.

The component of this mammoth project was first initiated with the development of the Pengerang Deepwater Terminal or PDT, a joint-venture between Dialog Group, Royal Vopak of The Netherlands and the State of Johor. It is constructed in three phases over 1,300 acres of land which include 500 acres of reclaimed land with total storage capacity of 5 million cubic metres.

Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) is PETRONAS's largest investment in Malaysia, located in Pengerang Johor. It occupies an area of approximately 6,424 acres of west Pengerang, in the district of Kota Tinggi, Johor.
