Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) by PETRONAS

PIC is the largest investment in the country for PETRONAS and forms one third of the total PIPC with a total area of 6, 242 acres.
PIC comprises of Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) and 6 Associated Facilities, which are :
  • Air Separation Unit (ASU)
  • Utilities & Facilities (UF)
  • Pengerang Co-generation Plant (PCP) & Pengerang Transmission Line (PTL)
  • Pengerang Deepwater Terminal (PDT2)
  • Regasification Terminal (RGT2) & Pengerang Gas Pipeline (PGP)
  • Projek Air Mentah RAPID (PAMER)

Pengerang Deepwater Terminal (PDT) by DIALOG

Phase 1
Pengerang Independent Terminals Sdn Bhd (PITSB)
PITSB, a joint venture between DIALOG, Vopak Terminal Pengerang BV  and the State Secretary, Johor (Incorporated), is a completed and operational independent deepwater petroleum terminal with initial storage capacity of 1.3 million m3 together with six deepwater berths, and is operational since 2014. The terminal is currently expanding an additional storage capacity of 430,000 m3 and is expected to be commissioned progressively from 2019.  

Phase 2A
Pengerang Terminals (Two) Sdn Bhd (PT2SB)
PT2SB, a joint venture between PRPC Utilities and Facilities Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of PETRONAS and Dialog Equity (TWO) Sdn Bhd together with Vopak Terminal Pengerang BV and the State Secretary, Johor (Incorporated), is a dedicated terminal  for PETRONAS Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) Complex with a storage capacity of approximately 2 million m3. Expected to be operational in 2019.

Phase 2B
Pengerang LNG (Two) Sdn Bhd (PLNG-2)
PLNG2, a joint venture between DIALOG LNG Sdn Bhd, PETRONAS Gas Berhad and the State Secretary, Johor (Incorporated), a LNG regasification facilities comprising  of a regasification unit and two units of LNG storage tanks with a combined capacity of 400,000 m3 mainly to serve Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex for their fuel requirement, and is partially operational.
